TRITON TUNGSTEN CARBIDE – TC.850™
Tungsten Carbide is a uniquely forged metal that is perfect for a man’s active lifestyle. It’s durable, scratch-resistant and will maintain its finish over time with normal use.
Triton Tungsten Carbide TC.850™ stands for a formula consisting of approximately 85% Tungsten Carbide, yielding a strong, heavyweight, hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant material. This uniquely forged metal is perfect for a day to day activity. Tungsten Carbide is the most scratch-resistant metal in the jewelry and bridal industries.
Triton TC.850™ utilizes exclusive patented nano-technology coatings applied to the surface of the metal using a unique method that results in high scratch-resistance, high wear-resistance, and increased hardness and durability. The patented metal’s micro-grain structure provides tighter, more compressed molecules, creating the best balance between hardness and its lustrous finish. (US PATENT NO. 6,928,734)
At 1300 Vickers, or over 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, Triton’s Tungsten Carbide TC.850™ is the hardest material available in bands behind a diamond. In comparison, Triton’s Tungsten Carbide TC.850™ is 10 times harder than 18K gold and has substantial, luxurious weight like that of platinum.
The materials that combine to make Tungsten Carbide retain their finish over time with normal use. All colors of Tungsten Carbide (black, white, classic gray, yellow & rose) are scratch-resistant.
Triton’s signature Tungsten Carbide TC.850™ material is featured in its natural state providing a raw, unfinished look.
CARBON FIBER
Triton’s Carbon Fiber is strong, durable, and lightweight. Triton’s designs are either compacted, resulting in a random pattern that creates dimension (Forged) or mechanically wound, resulting in a structured pattern (Twill). Designs are applied with a clear epoxy resin.
Our handcrafted Damascus Steel adapts the strength and beauty of ancient sword-making secrets to creating these distinctive patterns of banding and mottling reminiscent of flowing water. Triton’s wearable Damascus Steel is innovatively paired with our primary metal – Tungsten Carbide – to create unique one-of-a-kind patterns. No two rings are exactly alike.
STAINLESS STEEL
Triton uses the highest quality Stainless Steel 316L that is lightweight and hypoallergenic.
Titanium is a strong, hypoallergenic, lustrous, and corrosion-resistant metal. Because it’s resistant to corrosion in seawater and chlorine, you’ll often see it used in aerospace, automotive, sporting goods, and other applications. Triton Titanium is commercially pure, lightweight and strong so that it’s comfortable and easy to wear. Naturally gray in color, Triton Titanium rings are available in gray and black and maintain its color over time.
- Highest strength to weight ratio of any metallic element
- The outer surface is finished with zirconium oxide to seal and protect
- A mixture of zirconium and titanium
The name Forged Carbon comes directly from how we produce the material: taking carbon fiber, shredding it, then compressing it under heat. The result? A striking marbled pattern that’s subtly different with every single pressing. That ensures a slightly unique pattern in each piece, meaning no two rings are exactly alike.
We paired our new Forged Carbon with striking metals to create provocative design combinations that make a fearless statement. Forged Carbon is available with 14K Gold, Titanium and Damascus.
Tantalum in its natural form is a dense mineral that has a deep, vivid color that's darker than platinum. Tantalum is a hypoallergenic metal. Caring for Tantalum is simple and does not require special cleaning. Simply clean it with detergent-free soapy water to add a sparkling clean shine to Tantalum rings.
Gold is consistently one of the most popular metal choices for engagement and wedding rings. Classic and timeless, a Gold wedding ring is representative of your shared love and commitment and is designed to last a lifetime and beyond ̶ becoming an heirloom for future generations.

Triton uses non-endangered genuine Acacia wood. It's natural, rare, and imperfect qualities account for the slight variations in color, grain, and pattern that reflect the beauty of natural wood and make every ring unique. The wood is vacuum treated to remove moisture and then sealed with a clear lacquer to prevent moisture damage.
Triton uses natural and sustainable Cherry Wood. Cherry Wood is medium red-brown in color with a straight grain pattern and even texture. It's natural, rare, and imperfect qualities account for the slight variations in color, grain, and pattern that reflect the beauty of natural wood and make every ring unique. Sourced from farms protected by the US Forest Stewardship Council. The wood is pre-treated, vacuum sealed to protect the ring from moisture and then a final e-coating is applied to the finish for further protection and extra luster.
Triton uses natural and sustainable Walnut Wood. Walnut Wood is dark brown in color with lighter streaks. The texture of walnut wood is even with a generally straight, sometimes wavy grain pattern.
Triton uses natural and sustainable Maple Wood. Maple Wood is pale brown in color with an even texture and straight grain pattern.
Meteorite is a type of space debris that is dense in weight with high concentrations of Iron and Nickel. Some meteorites are formed when comets or asteroids split apart, while others arise when stars are formed. Triton uses only free trade meteorite from Sweden that is acquired by government-regulated meteorite hunters. While Triton seals its meteorite to prevent oxidation, it will naturally patina over time.
